Analysts have predicted that biotechnology will be one of the most important applied sciences of the 21st century and a key driver in the world economy. From agricultural and environmental to pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services, it already represents one of the largest and most rapidly growing sectors within the life sciences.
Elite Biotech Research & Development was set up to analyze, investigate and develop safer and effective alternatives to western medicines and drugs produced by pharmaceutical companies for the treatment of cancer and other illnesses.
The company will be funded by donations from investors and The Cancer Foundation, who will be starting their campaign before the end of 2020.
We hope to raise enough money by the end of 2021 to set up our own laboratory so we can begin developing our own treatments.
Recent studies have shown that the use of extracts from cannabis plants (CBD) has been beneficial in helping patients diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately the cost of the oil is very high and the NHS are reluctant to prescribe it, so we intend to research the medicinal use of the plant and providing the results are positive, we aim to produce high grade CBD products for The Cancer Foundation so it can provide it to sick patients who will benefit from the use of it, but cannot afford to purchase it.
